Physical cards are also available, but they must be purchased and picked up at our Old City location.
Gift cards do not expire, and may be redeemed for any of our classes or merchandise available on location (unless otherwise specified or noted).
Do you offer private events or team building experiences?
Absolutely! Our Old City Philadelphia location offers everything: birthday parties, private classes, corporate retreats, teambuilding experiences, and more! We also love to hear your creative ideas – we are always open to exploring everything our unique space can offer!
Are children able to attend your classes?
Yes! We welcome guests of all ages, but we do recommend that children be at least 7 years old, for both their comfort and safety. Our chef’s table experiences are fun and engaging, but we do utilize barstool seating and we do not have high chairs available. If you would like to bring a child younger than 7, please reach out and we will see if we can work with you to find a solution.
Please note, all guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the experiences BYOB?
We do offer complimentary wine (typically a Pinot Grigio and a Cabernet Sauvignon), but if you would like to bring something special, we would be happy to serve it to you.
Are your classes hands-on?
Yes, the majority of our classes are hands-on. We formerly offered a more “demonstration” style experience, but we have reformatted the classes to offer you a more hands-on, engaging experience. For example, in the majority of our pasta and pizza classes, you will start the class by making dough that. you can take home and enjoy later.
If the class is more demonstration that hands-on, it will be noted in the description of the class.
Is there parking available?
We do not have a parking lot, but there are many options for parking in Old City. We recommend street parking when available (please be sure to carefully check the signs, as they can vary from street to street). If you are attending a class that starts at 6:30pm, you can look for parking on 2nd or 3rd Streets between Market Street and Race Street to locate spots that stop metered parking at 6:30pm (some streets require payment until 8:30pm or 10:30pm, so please check when you park). Once you have paid the meter (or use the MeterUp App – available in the App Store, or Google Play), you are free for the rest of the night.
There are also many pay lots within walking distance of Old City Kitchen. If you need further assistance, please email or call us using the information at the top of this page.
May I attend by myself?
ABSOLUTELY – we welcome and encourage solo guests! Watching guest become friends is our favorite thing about what we do! “Come as Guests – Leave as Friends!”
